The only problem you might have is that the powder might leave marks on the clothes if it doesn't dissolve completely. If this happens, you should give the clothes an extra rinse.

Liquid detergent
Liquid detergent is better than washing powder because it dissolves better and doesn't leave marks on the things you wash. It is mostly used for delicate and coloured clothes. It doesn't clean as well as laundry powder, so more of it needs to be used. Here, we also suggest that you use a measuring cup and read the directions on the package. Again, you should put detergent in the dispenser before you wash.

Lastly, there is a solution that comes in the form of a detergent in capsules, tablets, or shells, which has the advantage of being able to dole out the right amount automatically. Follow the directions on the package for how many capsules to use for each load of laundry. These capsules, which dissolve in water, go right into the tub of the washing machine.
